A Monday Motivation

Here I am sitting on my butt with zero motivation to workout. I spent the past five minutes lying on my back thinking about what I could do to energize myself. I realized that I was probably not the only one feeling this way. Not being able to go into the gym can be difficult for some people who love being with others (literally me). I decided to write down my motivation tips to remember what gets me moving!
Below are some of my best tips on getting the body active when your mind is saying “ugh… not this today!”
Put on your favorite workout clothes because who doesn’t love feeling cute while getting sweaty!
Reward yourself - Completed 4 workouts this week? Go get a new lulu headband!
Set concrete goals - Example: by Friday I will have completed five of my favorite 30-minute ab workouts!
Grab a friend… Facetime or socially distanced workouts can be super motivating!
Change it up - Don’t feel like running today? Try going for a bike ride!
Turn the music up and work with the beat!
Pick a fun activity to do when you finish your workout - Example: hangout with your friend, online shop, call a family member, etc.
I’m going to call a friend after I train, so now I want to get this workout done!
Some days are harder than others. You might not want to go on the run today, and that’s 100% ok! We all have those days. I hope you find my tips helpful!
